The Lord Giveth & The Lord Taketh Away

To keep in spirit with today`s pre-match prayer …. The lord giveth, and the lord taketh away.

Earlier this evening Arsenal were offered a tiny bit of hope in what is a mammoth task to overturn a 3-1 deficit after Bayern midfielder Franck Ribery was ruled out of the clash with an ankle injury.

No sooner had this news offered a glimmer of hope that further news broke that Arsenal will be without Jack Wilshere heading into the game, making the already impossible task even more impossiblererer.

Deep down, the news isn`t terrifying because we`ll be without Jack for a game that, for all intents and purposes, is already lost, it`s that Wilshere has suffered an ankle injury, a similar injury that kept him out for well over a season.

Shucks!!

How did that happen? There were no tell tale signs during the NLD, except that Jack wasn't as commanding as we expected, so this may have been a reaction of some sort. I don't worry much about the game in Germany, I just want our Jack fighting fit in days.

Bayern serve God too..just go and run around for 90mins and the best team wins

Cazorla's been overplayed as well, he'll be next

Should be back after the international break apparently.
Little Dutch
It's the opposite ankle to the one that kept him out for so long apparently. Small mercies.
Rocky7
That's a relief, if true, Rocky. Rosicky should take charge and hopefully get a good run of games. I do hope Diaby is in good health, as well.
Naijagunner
Indeed Naija - Infact Wenger has gone as far as to say the layoff is a precautionary measure.
Rocky7
And on the upside - Diaby is (almost certainly) back.
FunGunner
Haha yeah, Diaby. mega lulz
shewore
Plus Gibbs is back so we might be able to play a left back at left back!
FunGunner
It's Fabianski in goal! Well, who knows....our line up may get them laughing so hard they won't know what hit them! The plan is "the sucker punch" tactics ;-)
