Djourou Completes Hamburg Switch

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has completed a move to Bundesliga side Hamburger SV. Djourou will join the German team on an initial loan for the 2013-14 season, with an option to buy at the end of the season. It is understood Hamburg will take up all of his current weekly wage.

Djourou joined Arsenal from Étoile Carouge as a 16 year old and spent a loan spell at Birmingham City in 2007-08, as well as spending the second half of last season on loan to Hannover 96. Djourou's departure means that Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott are now Arsenal's longest serving players.
