Djourou Completes Hamburg Switch

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has completed a move to Bundesliga side Hamburger SV. Djourou will join the German team on an initial loan for the 2013-14 season, with an option to buy at the end of the season. It is understood Hamburg will take up all of his current weekly wage.

Djourou joined Arsenal from √Čtoile Carouge as a 16 year old and spent a loan spell at Birmingham City in 2007-08, as well as spending the second half of last season on loan to Hannover 96. Djourou's departure means that Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott are now Arsenal's longest serving players.
