Arsenal To Host Everton In Quarter Final

Arsenal have been handed a 3rd consecutive home tie in the FA Cup after being drawn to face Everton at The Grove.

The Gunners gained revenge over Liverpool a little over a week after getting thrashed by the Scousers as they emerged victorious in a 2-1 win with goals from The Ox and Lukas Podolski.

The draw for the quarter finals have been made and Arsene Wenger`s men will need to see off the second Premier League Merseyside team if they are to progress to the semi finals.

Here`s the draw in full.

Arsenal v Everton
Brighton or Hull City v Sunderland
Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton
Manchester City v Wigan Athletic

The fact that they're home draws makes them a little less tough for us. It also pushes up matchday revenues - so everyone's happy! :)

I'd prefer a nice home draw against Sheffield United or something. Napoli, Dortmund, Marseille, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, Bayern Munich .... I know the old saying goes that have to beat the best win stuff ... But I'm sure that doesn't mean we have to face every top team!

Well, could have been worse. Could have been City away.

Would be interesting to see who Liverpool fans root for in that fixture.

Rocky, you just had to go for a picture of our vice-captain in his old strip ;-)

There's always a danger that you don't take it entirely seriously against lower league teams - and they've nothing to lose! Everton is a team we have to take seriously - but it's winnable if we do.
