Happy St Totteringham's Day!

They say we haven`t won a trophy in the last 8 years, but we`ve won the North London bragging rights for the last 19 years . And that`s just like a trophy isn`t it?

Ok, maybe not, but it`s always a fun time once the famous St Totteringham`s Day arrives and this year it came courtesy of a comfortable win over Newcastle United at Ashburton Grove.

St Totteringham`s day is confirmed once it`s mathematically impossible for Tottenham to finish above the mighty Gunners, and for the past few seasons its gone right down to the wire (or right down the crapper in Spurs case in 2006), however this season has been much more comfortable.

Of course we`ve made a bit of a meal of it over the last few weeks, but we`ve found our stride again heading into the FA Cup Final and will do so as Champions of North London.

Happy St Totteringham`s Day!

One "trophy" won two to go now!

Podolski sure is a mischief maker but certainly one who has endeared himself to the Arsenal fan base. His cheeky tweet had me realizing it was "that" day. Happy st. Totteringham's day to all gooners. Long may we continue to celebrate happy returns of this day.

That article pic of Dawson....like it just hit him too :-)

Doe this men we get to keep them now?

It was pointed out to me last night that if a spud had bet 1 at the start of the 95/96 season that they would finish above Arsenal and then did double or quits every season since, they would now owe 262,144 !
Amos.
At this point I would probably say no and take my 262,144 and buy a Ferrari

If only everything in life was as reliable as Spuds finishing behind Arsenal :)

Happy St Totteringham's Day, one and all! Two days late, but hey. If only there was a traditional St Totts song we could all sing with "nonny nonny no" somewhere in the lyrics. And a chorus featuring bells and goats. I can but dream.

Its happened again. Its happened again. Aaaaaahhhhh. Feels like christmas in Spring.

What is there to celebrate when we are definitely on a negative spiral of decline! 'cos we always look forward to celebrate St. Totteringham Day during Easter Weekend :D
