Lampard: No One Punched Me
Frank Lampard (I`ll refrain from calling fat today) has issued a short but sweet statement defending, yes defending Adebayor.
It had been claimed that the Togo striker punched Lampard during the Carling Cup brawl but Lampard`s agent, Steve Kutner (I`ll resist making a pun) today spoke on his behalf denying he was punched.
Speaking to BBC Sport Kutner said: 'I've spoken to Frank and he told me that he wasn't punched.'
Well there you have it, The FA are officially incompetent. It says a lot about them when one of our biggest rivals comes out to deny something claimed by the FA.
The solution is easy, put Alan Sugar in charge. I know he`s a former spu*s chairman but you know just what he would say to Hacket, Webb and Poll… "YOU`RE FIRED!"

The FA have denied that the lino said in his report that Adebayor did punch Lampard. They are saying the report states that Adebayor was aggressive, pushed carvalho & aimed a punch at lampard (which missed).

If Ade did throw a punch, then wenger is being really petty, however if ade didn't & has basically been banned for shoving then I think arsenal should look at legal action.

Look at the footage yourself on You Tube, Adebayor comes in at high speed arms ahead of him, looks like an attempt to push Lampard away but could be seen differently. Drogba clearly grabs/cuffs Cesc around the back of the head setting the pushing off again (but as likely footballer of the year probably bad publicity to charge him and have Chelsea claim their Premiership campaign has been holed.
The FA are not accountable they don't have to give reasons, I know a former member of the Disciplinary Panel and he like the rest of the FA are only interested in what the media say. Arsenal started the trouble so they are the ones that should be punished will be their mantra. Bare in mind also that Spurs and Middlesborough have been fined this season for an on pitch fight no players were censured.

Guys I think he's been misquoted!!! What he actually said was that "No one LUNCHED me", he was complaining about the lack of pies at half time in Cardiff.

Nice one scooch. there's no way Ade would have punched (who is still) fat Frank; he wouldn't want to lose his arm in the rolls. Also remember if FF (and Cesc) had kept out of it, the fracas may not have escalated.
