Cesc Confirms Spain Desire

Just months after signing a record-breaking 7 year contract Cesc Fabregas has refused to rule out the possibility of moving back to Spain as soon as 2 years time.

The Spaniard was courted by Real Madrid in the summer but he decided his long-term future was with Arsenal. Barcelona also showed interest in the midfield maestro but nothing came of it.

Cesc said: 'I do not know where I am going to be in two, three or four years,' he said.

'I am 19. I am only young and I have much more to learn. It is obvious that I am very happy at Arsenal, but I cannot predict what will happen in the future.'

Fabregas has a Catalan girlfriend and his family live in the area, something that has led to the ace confirming that he will finish his career in Spain.

'My girlfriend is Catalan and I expect that I will finish my career playing back in Catalunya,'

As long as when he is with Arsenal he gives his all and doesnt whinge (reyes) or behave poorly (Anelka) then thats all we can ask. For a young man his maturity and respect for Arsenal is 1st class and sometimes you just have to reward a player like him with a thankyou and goodbye. That said I hope we are talking a minimum of 4 years before he goes anywhere, then he could come back 4 years later when he is at his peak!

There is a bird that I work with that likes Latin blokes. She is a bit of a pig, but apparently she goes over like a fat dog on a wet lino so she aint all bad. I'm pretty sure that she would be refused entry to Spain on the grounds that her boat race would scare the children, so I may try and hook her up with Cesc. It's a long shot I grant you, but gotta be worth a try??

I've just suggested it to her and shown her a picture of Cesc, she looks quite keen. I do struggle to work out if she is smiling or trying to fart though.

Hahaha Hatespur. To be fair tho Cesc lives in Barnet, as do I and anyone who's ever been out there on a friday night will know that we have one of the highest percentages of the "larger" "fairer" sex. Tho if we set him up with a Barnet girl and he threatens to leave we could always order her to sit on him???

fat lasses are good scooch. In my playaround days before wedded bliss I always liked the fact that they seemed grateful to be getting a bunk up.

apperently Wenger is having one of the pitches at london colney changed. he is putting down fine white sand, digging out an area to be filled with crystal blue water and then having a Mojito bar installed at the end... wenger went on to say that not only would this feel more like home for Cesc but would also apply to Baptista, Gilberto, Denilson and Almunia too ;)

lol PG. i think in the short term we're safe with cesc i.e. the next 2 years and thats saying a lot in todays football world !! after that, who knows, like cesc says. just enjoy him while it lasts, and you can bet that arsene will have an immediate replacement. we already do IMO with Denilson.

I personally feel Fabregas will be as loyal as he can to the gunners. There's so many players who publicly announce their allegiance to so and so clubs, and the next season they're packing their Louis Vuitton bags and hopping over to another club. The boy's heart IS with Arsenal, why else would he sign such a long term contract? But we can't account for the future and I think it's actually smarter for him to say that for the moment and time, he's very happy at Arsenal, but the future cannot be set in stone.
