Podolski Suffers Minor Muscle Injury

Arsenal`s Lukas Podolski has suffered a minor muscle injury presumably in Germany`s 1-0 World Cup victory over the USA last week.

However despite being a certainty to be out for the last 16 knockout match against Algeria, Germany head coach Joachim Low has confirmed it is only a minor pull and would be set for the quarter finals should they beat Algeria.

'Podolski will be missing in the last 16,'
'He's pulled a muscle. He needs two or three days of rest. If we reach the next round, there will be no problem.'
