Eboue Hit With Ban

Emmanuel Eboue has been hit with a 3-match ban for his part in Sunday`s FA Cup brawl.

Eboue struck out at Wayne Bridge, who went to ground like he`d been hit by a 1,000lb bomb.

An FA Statement read: 'At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, a charge of violent conduct against Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue was found to be proved.

'He will therefore serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect.

Eboue was charged for striking Wayne Bridge during an incident towards the end of the Carling Cup Final on Sunday. He denied the charge.'

cusop
Well he's injured anyway, Gamst's horro tackle did him. Cusopp, what were Spurs and Boro charged for two weeks ago? The fact that you are ten points behind us (we have two games in hand) and you lost to our reserves are described by you as "happy days down at the Lane" shows how pathetic you and your football club are. TWO NIL AND YOU *****ED IT UP!
Little Dutch
Don't forget fifth of november, lol.

Jermain defoe Bit another human on a football pitch so spuds can just sod off back to 'happy days' lane still 10 points behind and soon to be out of the FA cup.

if the FA (F*&#ing A@#h#les) can use video to charge someone why can't they use it to clear someone else. adebayor should be playing on saturday.
mish
Well we cant say he didn't deserve it...lets just hope he learns from it.

No surprises here - what allof us expected. 3 match ban, leaves us with little cover at right back, especially for the PSV game !!
prits
prits the ban is only for domestic competitions, if he is fit, he can play against PSV. my only concern is the fitness of the skipper. this is the biggest game of our season now and we need him to be there if we are to progress to the quarter finals..
luckys_10
yeah luckys, i got that wrong. apparently eboue is now injured, hurt his ankle and might not make the PSV game anyway. we dont have a fit right back for the reading game. henry is also a doubtful starter, plus all the other injuries/suspensions. when it rains, it sure as hell pours eh? :)
