Wenger Gives West Brom Team News

Following the narrow victory over Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup last night, Arsene Wenger has been looking ahead to Arsenal's clash against West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening.

With a couple of injury concerns following the one nil victory, Wenger also gave an update on Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck as he spoke to the Official Site as he turned his attentions towards our next game.

With Calum Chambers coming off injured at the half time break, Wenger explained.

'Calum Chambers came off and will now be out until after the international break. He has a little recurrence of his hip problem.'

Theo Walcott was also substituted in the 76th minute, but the gaffer confirmed that he would be checked on today but he remained as unconcerned about a long term issue as he was immediately post game.

'Theo we will check today, we don`t think it is much.'

With Jack Wilshere making his first start in over 800 days in the game, Wenger confirmed that he had no issues with him as he 'came off the pitch' very well so he just needs to naturally recover from his efforts.

And for Ozil, he confirmed he was back in training and in confirming Danny Welbeck had a groin injury, he explained that his target for a return was after the international break and the game against Watford.
