ITV Statment RE: Sold Shares

ITV have released a statement to the London Stock Exchange regarding the sale of their 9.9% share holding in Arsenal.

A statement to the stock exchange read: 'ITV plc today announced that it had unconditionally sold its 9.99% shareholding interest in Arsenal Holdings plc to KSE UK INC, a vehicle controlled by Stan Kroenke, and has also entered into conditional arrangements with KSE UK INC in relation to the sale of its 50% shareholding in Arsenal Broadband Limited.'

Depends whether they just want a stake as investment or longer term plan to do a buy out just like all other prem teams has done so far.

This guy is here to buy the club you can gurantee it. No doubt we will soon be sponsored by Wal-mart. I am all for the move because as good as the current board are most of them are too conservative to move us to the next level. If it wasn't for Wenger we would still be training on a college field & have a midtable team, but the board would be happy just getting their small profits every season.

Been thinking more about this, I dont the directors will ever sell up to a guy like that. Have you seen how many teams and sports he has bought into? Running Arsenal would be a full time job, unless he made Arsenal his priority, which I would doubt.
