Wenger Is £2500 Poorer

Le Boss has been hit in the pocket once again after the FA fined him £2500 and warned him against his future conduct.

Wenger was fined after an altercation with the match official in the clash vs Pompy at Ashburton Grove last December.

An FA statement read: At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was fined £2,500 and warned as to his future conduct.

Wenger had admitted a charge of improper conduct in relation to his words and behaviour towards the match officials at half-time of Arsenal's match against Portsmouth on 16 December 2006.

Wenger had suggested that the FA just take his bank details so that they could just take the fines out on direct debit.

No doubt he'll be hauled in front of them for that too.

My season ticket renewal came yesterday, that will literally cover threee quarters of his fine!

The FA are a joke! It's taken them this long to decide on a punishment. That could of been decided a day after the match.

LD, my season ticket cost more than covers the fine. At least this was a realistic fine unlike most that arsenal & wenger get. Usually he is hit with fines of around 4/5 times more than anyone else ever gets so for that we should all be thankful. No doubt though, it was done like this so they could really hammer him for the carling cup one!!

Wow, my TWO season tickets at The Bridge would cover a little under 2/3 of his fine! I really don't know how you guys do it, does that include any cup or Euro matches? I wonder at what point people will start to say they've had enough?

I know he has been known as the calm man of football, he has truely shown his passion for his club his job and his players. He can afford the fines, I dont know why they bother with them, what does it achieve.

I liked his suggestion that the FA take his bank details LOL. The man has a sense of humour. Westl - the season ticket does cover a few cup games, including CL. But LD or AG will clarify that better for you.
prits
It covers seven cup matches. Also bear in mind that I have the most expensive season ticket outside of club level.
Little Dutch
that will teach him for being such a gobby basterd
MOYES IS GOD
