Fabregas A Doubt For Spurs

Cesc Fabregas has been rated 50:50 for Saturday's visit to White Hart Lane.

Wenger revealed that the young Spaniard is suffering from a virus and will not be risked should he not come through.

"Cesc has a little sickness," said Arsène Wenger

"He will have a test tomorrow to see how he feels. As it stands he is 50:50 today. We will not gamble on him. He is not injured but he has caught a virus.'

While it would be better to have Cesc in the side than not, I'm fully confident Abou Diaby or Denilson can boss the centre of the park over at Matchbox Lane.

Yeah Rocky, I'm with u there. Diaby will be a better bet, with Denilson on the bench. I hope Cesc gets better though. He is in some goal-scoring form and I wouldnt like that good form to be disrupted.

I can smell a whole lot of bull**** coming out of Wenger's mouth here. He always seesm to say someone is a 50-50 when its an important game playing. I expect to see Fabregas start fro you tomorrow and no doiubt he'll have a blinder. Then we'll hear Wenger go on about how great he is and how he got through it being ill! Yes he is a good player but you dont have to lie Mr Wenger!!

I see no lie Matt, we often have players injured against Spurs, Henry for instance always seems to be crocked. I'll actually go as far as to say I don't think he will play. Wenger usually gives odds of 70:30.

Oh well, if Cesc misses the game, Diaby will run em ragged, AGAIN.

I hope he's fit.
