Happy St Totteringham's Day!

I'd just like to be the first to wish my fellow Arsenal fans a very happy St Totteringham's day.

It's not uncommon these days, but it's one of those things that never gets boring.

So Gooners, go out, enjoy this fine day and have a few drinks for today, is St Totteringham's day!

I'd also like to give a special mention to Vital Spurs member antwerpspur. He came onto the Vital Arsenal forum for the first time when spurs were 1-0 up and he had this to say: '1-0 for the totten*am.

Gooners going down'

Well AntwerpSpurs - YOU'RE NOT SINGING ANY MORE!

Happy St Totteringham's day, Gooners!

YES a happy St Totteringham's day for all :)
AB_Arsenal
Chuffed, because I thought, we were gonna lose today, but really pi**** off that Berbatov got Premiership Plus man of the match, when quite frankly Abou Vieira ran the entire show! Still, I'm gonna have a nice afternoon in the back garden, the sun is shining, the beer is cold! Happy St Totteringhams Day everybody!
flv
No doubt we will hear the favourite spuds line "Next season, we'll beat you"
Ashburton Gooner
I know it's St Totts day but I've got to have a moan...what's with Berbatov gettin MOTM? He was good in the first half but he sulked for teh second 45! I don't know why Wenger went 5 in teh middle today, Diaby could have kept all 4 of their midfielders quiet on his own! Tommrrow is going to be no fun but today, well today is going to be full of beers, cheers and and more beers!
simmy8_2000
what was the result? And please leave a jibe aimed at tottenham when you answer. :- )

Lovely jubly!
Goofle
oh, well played gooners (not lehmann!)
Goofle
Happy ST Totteringhams day indeed. I know it's a derby game but I wasn't happy with the result. We should've won 3-1 easy. They're a pish poor side and they'll be forever in our shadows. No matter how much they hype up their team and believe they can win things we all know they're shhites. Good to see Ade get a goal. Damn linesman ruled the first one out incorrectly, they should consider themselves lucky. Very very lucky. damn spuds.
saisho
2-2 k-chel! Be careful though, Martin Jol must be hungry after sitting down watching the game! He even got up off his fat ar** a few times too! I'm sure if you check out the your seismic readings chart you'd be able to pinpoint exactly what times 8-)
flv
FLV - I love it!
simmy8_2000
Last 3 times the Ars*nal have come to WHL it's been a draw. Not so easy at the Lane is it? Bet you wish you could swap that Spanish ***** Fabregas for Jenas? No I wouldn't either because Jenas is *****e. I must say though that you guys deserved to win and how we found the strength to hold on to the ball and score only G-d knows. Although both your goals were scored from set peices where there was no contact made at all but you've gotta expect that from football now a days, especially Ars*nal! See you next year.
WhiteHartSpur
Look forward to it WHS. Another easy 4-6 points in the bag!
flv
lol WhiteHartSpur, we hit the woodwork three times and also had a clear penalty, and missed many other chances. you're rite we deserved to win, but trust me it's very easy at the lane, especially when your team is infront. you just know that they can't hold onto it and dun have the fitness levels and the quality to match your repeat your first half displays in the 2nd period.
luckys_10
dont you think it was absolutely pathetic the way they celebated at the end, what a sorry sight. couldn't stop laughing. martin jol looked as if they'd won the league (or anything for that matter), and jenas looked to be almost in tears. it shows what a small club they are being so happy with a draw.
elio14
to repeat*
luckys_10
Berbatov was impressed too 8-) He'll be gone in the summer!
flv
lol flv where do you think he'll end up in the summer? somewhere else in england :)..
luckys_10
He'll probably decide to better his career by joining Middlesborough or Fulham 8-)
flv
Comedy celebrations of almost winning the league at the end by their fans though
ExRox
Yeah ExRox, it was almost as emotional for them as when they got a bye in the Uefa Cup! lol
flv
Considering we were 2-1 up in the 94th minute I'm a little disapointed, but once again I predicted the correct score :P I watched the game with my Spurs supporting mate, and after 93 minutes he was disolusioned and claimed "I've got a plan! Hit the ball as hard as you can towards goal" Well bugger me it worked. Great game of football, lets just hope our fellow Gooners got home safely.
Rocky7
O Well, let them have their day; they certainly were happy with a draw.
gunner-minesh
What clear penalty? What are you talking about? Some old Arsenal, always cheating. Oh and by the way, it sounded just like Highbury the Library in that away section today. Was it Wigan or Blackburn? Oh no, it was Arsenal. Couldnt have told the difference though.
WhiteHartSpur
WHS, keep your pecker up, don't let it get as limp as your team... »»Arsene Knows««
Wingston75
WhiteHartspur, you talk *****, you *****ed it again today, you had you regulars all playing and you was given a football lesson AGAIN. Four times that has happened tis season. Your a country mile beind Arsenal and today proved that. Count youself very very lucky Cesc didnt start from he begining and TH14 was missing too. As le boss said we should have won by five.
gunnerb
Did you guys see Zokora whispering in Kolo's ear after the final whistle. 'Please ask Arsene to get me outta here'.
flv
Happy St.Totts day then :). Like Rocky, I'm a little disappointed too, coz we were 10 seconds away from a deserved win.
prits
Story of our season though prits! We've been so unlucky like that this year. Look at the bright side of things though. There is no way that we will ever have a season that is cursed with as much bad luck as this one again. And did I fail to mention that even with our dour luck, Spurs still couldn't beat us, we beat Liverpool 3 out of 4, did the double over Utd and are still to play Chelsea at the Emirates.
flv
^What are you smoking the gooners were def sing there hearts out, they were actually better then the home supporters. "YOU'LL NEVER BEAT THE ARSENAL"7 yrs N counting.
Youngest in Charge
I enjoyed today, we never looked liked losing, yet spuds played like a desperate team. Bebatov aint that good against the big boys, he was crap. Diaby was easily man of the match.
gunnerb
we are red, we are white, tottenham are a pile of shhhh..... »»Arsene Knows««
Wingston75
It's actually good to see that the VS members realise that the last minute goal (no matter how enjoyable for them) only served to paper their cracks, and had Cesc played from the start and Henry & van Perise played, the game would have had an entirely different outcome.
Rocky7
Why does whinging wenger persist with Freddie for? It wasnt until he went off that you's started coming into the game. The guy is clearly at least 3 years past his sell by date.
sport
flv - I'm not all doom and gloom, mate, dont worry :). Plenty of positives, even from today. Its just unbelievable to see we've had so much bad luck - 3 shots hitting the goal-posts !!
prits
Why do whining spurs fans persist in supporting their pathetic excuse for a club? You are clearly 46 years past your sell by date you *****in' muppet. The funny thing is without actually getting a red card we played you for two 30 min periods with ten men, the first half hour with Ljunberg injured and the last half an hour with Baptista on the field (oh, he scored 2 against you at your humble home last time didnt'e? how embaressing to be scored on by a player with the touch of a catholic priest and movement of a rotten log) and yet you celebrate an incredibly undeserved draw like you won the League and CL on the same day. I believe that is what they refer to in psychology as an inferiority complex, 35,000 of them.
Ozi Gooner
Happy st totts day all!!
TR7
I am a bit disappointed with the outcome though. And as flv said it cant get worser than this. Maybe we need to look at our peers like Chelsea and ManU. I really wanted to wrap up the Champ League place by today(after the Pool game). It would have been a nice double celebration.
questforavalon
Its still totts day quest, we'll have it wrapped up v.soon, in the meantime I'm off to sink a few guinesses and celebrate this momentous day, it only comes once a season afterall!
TR7
QFA, The spot is wrapped up, it is an impossibility for us not to qualify.
Rocky7
Oh goodie. It is double celebration after all. It is 10 and I am going out now for that pint.
questforavalon
happy st totts day tiny lil totts... the fact that ur manager is happy with a draw whereas our manager wanted to win by 5... i mean FIVE goals says a lot about ur desire and ambitions.. n even when 7th place has become available for the uefa spot, u bunch are still fighting for it... go on call us a club in decline.. which means ur a club in relegation... HAHAHAHAHA
McGooner
Happy St Totts fellow-gooners. Aren't they lucky basturds?
Andy-bayor
its a excuse to have another few pints!!
ajwb
ajwb - I'm already entering my second quota of lager. LOVE IT. Once again HAPPY ST TOTTERINGHAMS DAY EVERYONE!!
Rocky7
hic, get me another guinness!! I feel a long night ahead! and a very long day tomorrow!!
TR7
It was a game of two halves. Spurs were all over you in the first and disappointing again no show in the second half from us which allowed you back in. Whilst a draw was a fair result, it was disappointing that both your goals game from a) our defensive errors b) incorrectly awarded free kicks. Rosicky's fall under the most minimal of contact shows what is becoming rotten in the game - Zokora managed to stay on his feet under much heavier contact with similar runs, whilst Eboue again showed what a cheating little urchin he is. Huddlestone never even came close to touching him yet he went down like a sniper in Row T had taken aim. If Keane and King had been fully fit and if we'd had a left back at left back and if MJ stops with his bizarre rotation of midfielders in the wrong position Rocky7 then that would off set Fabregas, RVP etc
kernowboy
yo kern... if we had started with king henry, van persie and fabregas.. we'd get our FIVE goals today.
McGooner
It's all if, but's and maybe's Kern. cast your mind back to the Carlong Cup when Fabregas ran all 4 of your midfielders off the park.
simmy8_2000
kernow, stay off the fairy dust mate.
flv
The sad facts are that whilst Jol is in charge,Tottenham wont break into the top 4.Spurs have shown some nice stuff at times & have 3 or 4 top class players but they are being led by somebody who just aint got a clue,a man who is seriously out of depth.Establishing leads twice v Arsenil & at both Chelsea & Seville proves the potential at WHL.In fact the performances at Chelsea & Seville were awsome but the coaching decisions coming from the touchline are anything but.Go 1 or 2 up & defend your 18yd line for 45+mins is Jol"s master plan for success,a plan that has as many holes in it as Tottenham"s defence. It pains me to say it but we were by far second best & extremly lucky to nick a point.Thing is,everyone just sooo knew what was going to unfold in the second half..!!Hmmm,Jol"s last North London Derby as well as Wenger"s hey..??Fingers crossed..!!
chalky76
Happy St Totts day to all my fellow gooners!
