Arsenal Qualify For Champions League

Arsenal have all but qualified for the Champions League after an entertaining draw at White Hart Lane and other results went their way.

Arsenal will continue the consistent run in the CL after a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane and both Bolton and Everton lost their games today.

For Arsenal to fail to qualify would need to see them lose their last 3 games (Fulham & Chelsea at home and Pompey away) and either Bolton or Everton win their remaining games whilst closing a gap of 28 and 17 goals respectively.

Whilst nothing in football can be taken for granted, I will gladly resign from my post of Vital Arsenal editor and parade myself outside Ashburton Grove wearing a Spurs shirt exposing my shaved scrotum should we fail, I am that confident.

In a difficult first season at AG, riddled with injury and now a board room revolution to boot, I'm happy to see qualification wrapped up as quickly as possible, and while our season has been declared a poor one by our own high standards, I can guarantee 16 other PL teams would kill to be in our position.

Nice one lads.

LOL Rocky, no one wants to see your scrotum, shaved or otherwise :). I know this season has not been that good, but qualifying for the CL still shouldnt be front page news, IMO.

I would rather see rocky's shaved balls than an Arsenal fan wearing a tottenscum shirt.

Man, going through what we have this season and coming out the otherside with our status in tact is no mean feat. The other thing I've noticed is that we seem to have shaken our "they dont like it physical" tag. As soon as we find our shooting boots we'll be worrying the leaders.

Portsmouth and Reading are hovering around that final UEFA Cup spot, It would be so great if either Kanu, Campbell or Lauren score the goal which takes that final spot from spurs.

We have been through a bit this season as Arsenal supporters. With the new stadium being enough pressure we have seen TH14, RVP11,FL8,WG10,EE27,TS7,AH13, all out wiht injuires for massive amounts of time. To top it all off the guy that was forward thinking enough to give Arsene Wenger a try walks out after talking to a yank behind the backs of the board. RED ARMY RED ARMY RED ARMY RED ARMY

Pre-Cesc, I thought we were quite sloppy but everyone's performance changed after the boy came on. I've just read what blobby had to say about Arsenal on skysports - what a muppet. Does he not know what to make of his own team's finish product? Clearly blinded by his flab around the eyes. Oh Rocky, have you considered posting player ratings on here?

I doubt that we'll lose against your lot this time k-chel. After seeing your fans chucking celery at our players last time out, we've decided that we're gonna do the same to yours, only we're going to use hand grenades 8-)

Was it me or was Baptista pathetic? He missed an open goal chance to make it 3-1.. I just hope we don't buy him! As for the season, it has been dissapointing and 4th is the least our team could have gotten.. they've done that.. I think we'll be fresher come next season and hopefully with the entire squad plus 2 good players.. we'll be in with a fighting chance to win the League.

Baptista has been told he is going back thats why his attitude from loving England has changed to hating it. I think he needs to get himself back to sevilla & maybe reinvent himself again. We all know that Aliadiere, Flamini, Baptista, Reyes & probably Lehmann are off in the summer & to replace those that kind man Edelman is going to give Wenger enough money to sign 1 player (undoubtedly a keeper). So next year I think we might see a couple of 15 year olds making debuts!!

3 keepers+Clichy, Traore, Eboue, Hoyte, Gilbert (?), Senderos, Djourou, Gallas, Toure, Gilberto, Cesc, Denilson, Song, Cesc, Diaby, Walcott, Rosicky, Hleb, Freddie (?), Henry, RvP, Ade, Bendtner, + a winger makes it a very apt 24+ man squad on a relatively low wage budget. I see only Traore and Bendtner coming through, perhaps O'Cearuill or Connolly featuring regularly in the CC along with Jay Simpson. And then maybe I have no clue.

Although last season qualifying for the Champs League on the final day, beating spurs was all done at highbury and was a bit of a fairy story ending, I prefer to be qualified with a few games to go. We might rest some of the older players and see the carling cup team out again. ***** myself if that happens and we beat CSKA London to fcku thier title up.
