Cesc Does NOT Hint At Arsenal Exit

The Sun, and many other news agencies have boldly headlined, that Cesc Fabregas has hinted he may leave the Gunners.

The headline, which I first noticed on the Newsnow feed, was greeted with a sigh, but felt the need to read the crap that had been published by this bunch of sensationalist arsewipes.

I knew what was coming, but I just had confirm it.

Fabregas' statement read, "I don`t know what is going to happen.

"I am very bound to the coach, Wenger, and I think he will continue.'

"I`d like to return to Spain but I must finish my time in England. Now, my plans are to stay in London."

Now, to your average sheep, the 'amazing' headline title accompanied with the words 'I'd like to return to Spain' marry together to become a shocking story that rocks the footballing world.

However, to people who can read, actually follow the game closely and indeed Arsenal fans, this statement is nothing new and in no way suggests the midfield maestro is 'set to leave'.

Cesc has made no secret that he would one day like to return to play in the country of his birth, and we respect and have accepted his decision, but the Spaniard has always maintained he loves Arsenal and will fulfil his contract.

Here's a little hint to those lazy morons at the Sun, the words 'I must finish my time in England. Now, my plans are to stay in London." are the most important part of his statement.

Muppets!!! In australia our sports sections have nothing but scores, results, injuries and previews and actual stories about sport; drugs in sport, sports players getting in fights at bars that sort of stuff. Maybe you should tel your journos to come and see what a sports section looks and stop reading US tabloids.

still, why let the facts get in the way of a load of complete cobblers that might shift a few more of their rags that are, by and large, only fit for clearing and smearing arse excrement residue from one's botty... »»Arsene Knows««

Newsnow is definetly a ying and yang sort of thingo innit. You get good sites like this and arseblog, but then people like me that have never been exposed to such mindless crap, living outside the UK and all, have to see gargage from the Sun, the Mirror or Myles 'I'm a self-righteous, ego-maniac, rich, kunt of a human being whose soul was actually replaced by a spurs fans fecies' Palmer.

PG I think the whole point of their particular brand of what somehow passes for journalism in your country is to miss the facts altogether is it not?

Agreed - I see journalists in Canada are adopting this American tabloid style reporting. All it does is market to simpleton bandwagon sports muppets. Americans have always needed a constant contraversy to thrive (the reason shows like Jerry Springer are so popular in America), and now other parts of the world are adopting this sad mentality as a template. Journalism is a huge business - when they run out of interesting stories they feel they have to make them up. It's no longer reporting facts, it's now whoever can fabricate the best story by sensationalizing mediocre events and twisting/manipulating people's statements. A truly sad state of affairs.

Well put SUX2BU. The amazing thing is that these people can cause havoc literally at the press of a button, but can remain totally oblivious to any misery, hurt or negativity they cause. It takes a special kind of cold and calculating mind to do that ****.
