Crazy Goings On For Another Year

Crazy Goings On For Another Year

It looks as though the likes of Kevin Davies, Ditmar Berbatov, Nicholas Anelka & many more are set for another year of mayhem after Jens Lehmann extended his Arsenal career by a further year.

As well as his excellent goal keeping abilities, Lehmann is affectionately know as 'Mad Jens', and lets face it, there is a very good reason for this.

At last count Lehmann had been pulled up and yellow carded on no less than 8 occasions this season, not bad for a goalkeeper.

Wenger broke the news, "Lehmann has extended for one year,"

"He is a 100 per cent professional. He gives something to the team as well in the dressing-room if it is needed and I think he had a decent season this season."

There has been a split camp over Jens this season, but crazy antics aside, I think he's just as good as any keeper available on the market today.

yea we still need a good keeper coming in but Lehmann signing is very good news he will give us much needed experience at the back at that really is priceless

I`m glad he had stayed on, but I do wanna see Almunia given his chance, he has never let Arsenal down, has stuck around for a few years now.

The Crazy bug*er is still with us! Just don't step on his feet when a corner is coming in! I also wish Almunia was given more time in goal - if he was allowed to get a bit more confidence, we wouldn't need a Jens replacement next year.

i don't always agree with his antics, but that aside, he is experienced, he took his country to the world cup semi's and he is entertaining afterall.
