'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fabregas Not Satisfied

Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he is not satisfied with the teams achievements and believes he could have done more.

As the season draws to a close players and fans alike tend to reflect on what could have been. After doing the hard work of beating Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs & drawing with Chelsea the Gunners have fallen by the wayside after a string of disappointing results left us way off the pace.

However Cesc claims he is happy on a personal level yet as long as we're not winning anything then there is still room for improvement.

'On a personal level, I am happy - but as football is about what the team achieve, I cannot be satisfied,' said Fabregas.

'If the team has not achieved everything it could have achieved, that means I should have done more.'

I love this guy.
Goofle
I second that Goofle. I effin love him. I hope he becomes our captain after Thierry.
G4L
Somehow he hasn't scored enough goals, and at the start of the season, it sounded like he had set himself a target. I love the guy, and I think he has been our player of the season, but I would have liked to hear him say that, on a personal level, except for his goal-scoring record, he was happy.
prits
still 19 Prits!, when he gets into his 20s they'll be flying in, then we'll all be as happy as Hagman.
nikolaijns
nah G4L, after Titi, King Kolo deserves to be our next captain, although Cesc won't be a bad choice either :p..
luckys_10
How can he be happy when we fell over against some of the bottom teams.....twice against the spammers for cr**t sake! Beating the top teams is great, so long as we perform against those we should beat easily. This is my one abiding thought for this season...take PSV....a team we should put to bed all the time, home & away, so frustrating L10...I agree, maybe year after next for Toure..let Silva run the whole of next season, taking the pressure from TH14

He will get 10 goals minimum next year. Watch how many times he gets into the box on Sunday, its something he's added to his game the last 6 weeks. Intelligence beyond his years and a willingness to want to improve, super Cesc!
iceman10
Ice, if he makes it once and ripples the net, that's good enuf for me. I truly believe he & Rosicky will bag 20 between them next season...our big miss this season

PUREGOLD
playing way above his age his intelligence and ability to read the game is superb i cant wait to see what he is like next season and it is true he has added that to his game lately i would love to see him sink chelski on sunday
Thierry_Power
love this boy. do it next term and we will be up there.
Zimbolicious
Fab is an intelligent guy who is set to play a much bigger role next season. I bet he will bag in the double numbers next season
Zimbolicious
Cesc is an absolutely brilliant player and has a good head on his shoulders. as he continues to mature and develop he will bag more goals. he hasnt scored too many this season but it hasnt been through lack of trying. A future Arsenal captain for me :)
Aussie Gooner
He should be captain now! The only player, appart from kolo who would be an automatic selection next year!
Goofle
Really? You reckon he's a better captain than Gilberto? Hmmm...
