Billy Gallas has moved quickly to dismiss all rumours he will exit Ashburton Grove this summer after being linked with Real Madrid.
As silly season starts (and the election idiots in Spain begin spouting their promises) every Arsenal player from Henry to Senderos will be linked with other clubs, and one of this years first entries was William Gallas.
There were whispers that he was unhappy that Arsenal's current team was that of potential and not experience and would move to Real Madrid in the summer.
But as we all know, William likes talking to the press and wasted no time in giving this one the thumbs down, saying he's in this for the long haul.
'There are lots of rumours about me but it is not affecting my game. Arsenal are my club and that is where my future lies. I came last summer for a long project and not for a single season. I have not had any contact with anyone at Real Madrid. I am very happy at Arsenal and it is not entering my head to leave.' said Billy
'Arsenal have enormous potential. With the young players we have, we can be England's No1 team again in the near future.'
