Muamba To Take Reading Test?

Steve Coppell is looking to secure the services of Arsenal's Fabrice Muamba after being resigned to the departure of former Gooner Steve Sidwell.

Muamba has spent a successful season on loan at Birmingham helping the Blues to bounce back to the Premiership. In his time he has impressed the watching world, so much so a number of teams are looking into the possibility of signing him.

Reading's Steve Coppell is an admirer of Fabrice's.

'We have a situation now where I think Siddy is going to go,' he told the Reading Evening Post.

'As a result we have a list of probably a dozen players we are looking at and he (Muamba) is one of them.!

'I would imagine Birmingham will do everything in their power to keep hold of him. I don't know what Arsenal think about the situation.'

The young midfielder would be way down the pecking order should he come back to Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger has never been one of standing in the way of a career of a young footballer.
