Wenger Confirms Nik Return

Niklas Bendtner will fight for a first team place at Arsenal next season, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

The highly rated Danish international has spent this season on loan at Birmingham along with Seb Larsson and Fabrice Muamba, who have now joined the Blues on a permanant basis.

Niklas has stated several times this season that he fully intends to be playing first-team football this season.

The first few quotes from him caused some concern and even anger amongst Arsenal fans as he demanded that he have a starting place, or he would leave.

The striker took note of the negative reaction to his demands and stated that he intended to fight for a first team place instead (hopefully not in the Joey Barton way).

Speakig of the Dane Wenger said: 'Bendtner is coming back into our squad and I am a great believer in him because he has the potential to become an Arsenal football player.'
