Manchester City defender and England defender Micah Richards has described a potential transfer to Arsenal as a 'dream move.'
The Citeh defender has been linked with outgoing champions Chelsea since last summer. They were firm favrouites to land him in January but Roman Abramovich's decision to stop Mourinho's pocket money meant the move didn't go ahead.
'Obviously I'd like to play Champions League football, but time is on my side,' he told the News of the World.
'I have three years left on my contract and I feel a commitment to the manager and fans.
There was also a very small hint that his future could be linked to manager Stuart Pierce: 'I like working for Stuart Pearce. He gave me my chance. I can learn a lot from him.
'I am ambitious and I'm flattered to be linked with the big clubs, but I got into the England squad playing for City, so there's no reason why I need to move at the moment.'
Should the City defender decide to move on there's likely to be no shortage of suitors, but Arsenal would be his prefered destination.
He said: 'Arsenal are my team and it would be a dream move.
'I grew up supporting The Gunners.'
