'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Thierry Henry - Glory Hunter

Thierry Henry is hunting for glory next season as the club captain looks to get the team mind set right early on in a push to mount a serious challenge next year, after 2 seasons of hurt.

The Gunners skipper has had a season dogged by injury yet still managed 10 Premiership goals in just 16 starts and yet, Carling Cup final aside, the campaign stuttered it's way through to May.

However, Henry believes this young side has the quality to fight on next year and come up trumps after two trophyless seasons (It always makes me laugh when Spurs & Chelsea fans use that as an insult).

If everybody is fit I don't even think about not winning the title, I think we're as good as Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. I can understand losing the title race by a single goal but to be so far behind is hard to take.' said Titi.

'For me a successful season is bringing home silverware. Arsenal have not had a successful season and last season was the same. I'm not going to hide behind some of the reasons for that, although I agree with what some people are saying - that when you move to a new stadium you need time to adapt to it, and that we are a young squad.

'My first season at Arsenal was not a successful one and the second one was the same. Then we went on to win the Double in 2002 so you never know what can happen.

'Next season is a new season and it's up to us to make it happen.'
