AFC Pre-Season Ensures Good Start

For those of you, like me, who are already suffering from Arsenal withdrawal symptoms, the pre-season fixtures have already been announced to whet the appetite.

I've often thought that our pre-seasons have not been extensive enough, most of the time leading a poor start to the season, and our good run of form coming towards the back end of the campaign, more often than not too late.

However this year, it seems we have a pretty tasty build up with 'big' games against PSG, Inter Milan, Ajax & Lazio intermingled with a spattering of lesser opposition.

I think the fixtures, coupled with the Champions League qualifier should ensure our side is fit and firing on all cylinders just in time for the new season.
