Van Persie: We Need No one!

Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie says that Arsenal have all they need to become a successful club again.

The last two seasons have been considered poor and disapointing by the vast majority of Arsenal fans, not a belif shared by Van persie.

Arsenal have been linked with a string of top players since the season ended, including Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, France international Franck Ribery and Real Madrid attacker Robinho.

As well as those top-class players, Arsenal have been linked with some (how can I put this?) 'lesser' players including Tiny Totts targets Nigel 'I'm a footballer, get me out of here' Reo-coker and Curtis Davis.

It's unlikey Arsenal will spend much more money this season, despite rumours Ribery is set for a £15Million move to North London. Rockin' Robin had this to say:'We played some fantastic football but there was something missing with the finishing.

'It's hard to work out why the ball wouldn't go in. We have been very unlucky this season.

'I'm sure that if we keep playing the way that the boss thinks, the way most of the players think, we will be successful, maybe next year and certainly within two years, as long as we all stay together.'
