'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Adebayor Has One Last Chance

Arsenal striker Manu Adebayor has been issued with an ultimatum by his national coach Stephen Keshi.

As we reported here yesterday, Adebayor claims that he has not received any letter from the Togo football federation informing him that he was free to return to the national fold.

Ade, along with 2 of his national team mates, were suspended in March after a clash with the Togo FA over unpaid World Cup bonuses.

Almost three months later and the row is still going on.

It would appear that Nigerian-born manager Stephen Keshi is finally losing patience with the Arsenal striker.

'I am expecting them no later than tonight. If they don't come, that means they won't be playing against Sierra Leone,' he told AFP.

'I will be obliged to plan with those that are here and ready to give their all.'

From a selfish point of view I have to say that I hope Adebayor doesn't show up. If he does as I wish, it could mean that Arsenal wont lose the big man at a vital part of the season (January) when the African Cup of Nations starts.
