Henry On The New Boys

Captain fantastic, Thierry Henry, says he wants the new players to be as successful as him.

“I think Diaby has only played five games in the first team for Auxerre this season so I haven’t seen a lot of him,” said Henry. “But I heard a lot about him. That he is a great player at his age.”

“As for Emmanuel Adebayor, I don’t want to make too much of a comparison but it is true that he is the same type of player as Kanu.

“You will see when he plays for Arsenal for the first time but it is quite funny in a way because he is just the same type of player. The way they move and what they do.

“I hope he can be as successful as well.”
