Ade-Better

Arsenal's Togolese Striker, and the man with more stamina than Sting in a marathon tantric sex session, Emmanuel Adebayor, has spoken to defend his record in front of goal.

Ade, who at times last season showed tantalising glimpses of what Gooners can expect to see in the future years of his Arsenal career - and even when things did not go for him, always gave his all for the team - spoke of his ability to tuck the ball into the onion bag.

'I need to work on my finishing, but I'm not that bad in front of goal,' he told FourFourTwo magazine.

'I was a good player when I joined Arsenal but I'm better now.

'I'm learning loads, I have more maturity and I feel I'm getting better and better.'I've missed a lot of good chances but I'm working hard to improve my goal record.'

And Ade revealed how he hopes to continue to learn from the best in the business, his Arsenal Team-mate, Thierry Henry (yes that's right - he who will not be moving to another club this summer, no matter how much lame-arse Spanish rags continue to write piffle suggesting such...).

'You can't just watch Thierry 100 times and copy it, you must communicate,' he explained.

'Thierry tells me where and when to run, how to score one on one.'

Considering when Ade joined, he came with warnings of a player with a bad attitude, the guy has been nothing but a pleasure, he works continuously, is an imposing figure for any opposition defence, and is just going to keep getting ade-better...
