Valencia Coming To The Emirates

Valencia will replace Hamburg in the first ever Emirates Cup friendly competition at Ashburton Grove.

Hamburg had been due to play in the tournament to be played on the 14th and 15th of July.

But Hamburg's impressive display in the German bundesliga means they will no longer take part.

Valencia will replace Hamburg in the fixtures, meaning they will play Inter Milan and PSG.

Managing Director Keith Edleman had this to say to Arsenal.comL 'We are delighted to welcome Valencia to the Emirates Cup and it`s great that a club with such a successful history and high profile have agreed to join us for our pre-season competition.

'Hamburg`s late surge up the Bundesliga meant that they could no longer take part in the Emirates Cup, but I`m sure all supporters will be excited by the prospect of watching Arsenal, Valencia, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain playing at Emirates Stadium in July."

For those of you who are interested, tickets are now on general sale. For more details go to Arsenal.com.
