Aliadiere on Boro move (AUDIO)

Jeremie Aliadiere says he's delighted to be at the Riverside Stadium following his £2m move from Arsenal. The 24 year-old added it wasn't a difficult decision in the slightest though to leave the Emirates Stadium after 7 years with Arsene Wenger, and is most definately looking forward to showing the Boro faithful what he can do. He has also spent time on loan at Celtic, West Ham United and Wolves.

Never really impressed me but I'll never forget him for sinking the Spuds in the Cup semi-final last year or terrorising Liverpool's defenders.

The Football League Co-efficient for the Croatian League is 14.083. This puts the league behind Israel's in terms of difficulty. The Premierships rating is 63.486. DaSilva scored 34 goals which divided by 4.5 (the difference in League strength) means this total might have been 7.5goals in the Premiership. Bent scored 14 goals. Assuming that DaSilva's final fee is half the price, then he is (very) marginally the better player but there is no guarantee he'll adapt. Bent was however playing for a poor team, DaSilva playing for the completely superior team in his league so you'd assume he'd get the bulk of the chances created. So much for Spurs getting mugged. Just out of interest, Torres would have scored 16 goals based on the co-efficient and as his price could be as much as 50% more than Bent .... well you lot work it out who's been goosed
