Aliadiere on Boro move (AUDIO)

Jeremie Aliadiere says he's delighted to be at the Riverside Stadium following his 2m move from Arsenal. The 24 year-old added it wasn't a difficult decision in the slightest though to leave the Emirates Stadium after 7 years with Arsene Wenger, and is most definately looking forward to showing the Boro faithful what he can do. He has also spent time on loan at Celtic, West Ham United and Wolves.

Never really impressed me but I'll never forget him for sinking the Spuds in the Cup semi-final last year or terrorising Liverpool's defenders.

Indeed, rocky. It's the most hybrid accent I've heard since Peter Schmeichel's Danish/Mancunian tongue.

The Football League Co-efficient for the Croatian League is 14.083. This puts the league behind Israel's in terms of difficulty. The Premierships rating is 63.486. DaSilva scored 34 goals which divided by 4.5 (the difference in League strength) means this total might have been 7.5goals in the Premiership. Bent scored 14 goals. Assuming that DaSilva's final fee is half the price, then he is (very) marginally the better player but there is no guarantee he'll adapt. Bent was however playing for a poor team, DaSilva playing for the completely superior team in his league so you'd assume he'd get the bulk of the chances created. So much for Spurs getting mugged. Just out of interest, Torres would have scored 16 goals based on the co-efficient and as his price could be as much as 50% more than Bent .... well you lot work it out who's been goosed

Difference is kermit, Bent has proven what he is capable of in the PL, Dudu hasn't had the chance. He scored 34 goals in a mediocre league, but remember he was surrounded by mediocre players, I'm not saying he'll be a world beater, he may choke, but he's got more of a chance surrounded by first class players. Write him off at your peril.

disappointing yet unsurprising that another lame brain joins the Kermit bandwagon ... I have noticed on this purile page that those who cannot come out with a reasoned argument try to invent what they think are funny names so they can nudge and giggle like 11 years old schoolgirls in the back of class

Does the rest of my post not count as reasoned argument? And don't fret about being called Kermit, it's a term of endearment. And if this page is so "purile", why keep coming back?

kernowboy Da Silva has more Champions League experience than what your club has had for almost five decades, he's played at a higher level than all your players (except Berbie) so dun compare the two domestic leagues. Even a Champions League qualifier against the 5th ranked European team is of higher level than any Uefa Cup game, so shut the ***** up..

Niko, which way up should we look at the table? BTW Croatia are ranked 11th in the world, England 8th... but does it matter when we have the co-efficients stacked against us?

My word you are tremendously stupid as well as yellow, I called you Kermit, as Kermit had a pig as a girlfriend I suggested you copulated with one, unlike you I mentioned no titles of people in your life, fiancee/girlfriend/wife/mother nada, the fact that you chose to interpret this as a slur on your lucky lady is your problem noone elses. Can you comprehend this Kowardboy???? There's thousands of people out there whos mothers you can insult from the safety of your own home so knock yourself out, you have let yourself down big time today, truly a sorry shadow of a man, doubtless you will return to pathetically attempt to have the final say, but I have seen and heard all I need to know about you.

As I clearly not a green frog made of material you deliberately inferred that my girlfriend must therefore be a pig .... are you too much of an idiot to understand that I am in fact not a cartoon character ... yes we all hear what a hero you must be issuing challenges have revelled in the fact you once delivered a CHEAP blow to your sisters boyfriend but the fact is ... you responded to a comment with personal abuse suggesting that I must molest animals and when the didn't raise a response, you were such a BIG HARD MAN as to call my girl a PIG ... so congratulations you raised a response to gratify your desperate need to feel wanted ... for someone who lets themselves down with their pathetic name calling rather than focus on a coherent or at the very least humorous response to the thread, I shall let you wallow in your own inflated self importance.

Well obviously Ali did not talk bad about Arsenal. He just indicated that his ability is beyond CC level. The press has been malicious putting both him & the club in bad light. I think those who condemned him based on those unfair reports should apologise.

Well Rocky7, in that case he was implying my fiancee was Miss Piggy i.e a caricature of a pig. If you allow your mob to be abusive, don't try to take the moral high ground if they don't like it when it is delivered back - and it should also be mentioned that it was that individual who took the thread off message in the first instance.

Kernowboy. People tend to get nicknames round here (the Vital network), I myself am known amongst the Spurs community as "Jockey". It's just a ***** take. I'm quite sure that when you were christened Kermit the Miss Piggy jokes had no intention of being personally aimed at your significant other. However i can appreciate that given your state of anger you could consider that to be a jibe at your family, I can however gurantee that is not the case and what initially started out as a joke turned into something more. Niko seems to have backed off now and I'd appreciate it if you could do the same. Cheers.

I am sometimes referred to by totts as Goon Blunder (anagram), it's fair game, nature of the beast. Aliadere won't be missed. Can't miss a player who at his age still hasn't maintained any kind of form.
