3 Year Old Scouser Wins Competition

3 Year Old Scouser Wins Competition

Far be it from me to steal Vital Chelsea's thunder, but I just have to comment.

Liverpool Football Club today revealed the plans and drawings for their new stadium, and they left me speechless.

The Mickey's will play their football in what can only be described as a monstrosity which looks like it was designed by a 3 year old Blue Peter viewer.

How does it compare to our new stadium?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. It looks pretty good to me. The stands look a bit square on and maybe the views aren't going to be as good from all areas as the Emirates.

Read that its based on a similar design to the new Cowboys NFL stadium almost like the Emirates is virtually a carbon copy of the Estadio de Luz in Lisbon. Looks like original stadium designs are going out the window.

It does look strange from outside, but apparently they have plans to build a single tier Kop, to maintain the atmosphere. If thats around, I dont think we will hear any liverpool fans complaining.

Not liking the look from the outside but looks alright from the inside. At least it's a bit different and unique, unlike the... er Emirates! Just looks souless and same all way around. Like a bigger version of the Walker's stadium, Pride Park, St Marys...etc etc.

There are similarities between Estadio de Luz and the Emirates but virtual carbon copy seems to be stretching it to me.

As much as I hate to agree with anyone here, I do have to say the design looks terrible!!!! Im sure its state of the art an all, but glad they are building the eye sore miles away from London
