Wenger Confirms Reyes Exit

Wenger Confirms Reyes Exit

Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger has confirmed that moaning striker Jose Antonio Reyes will not be returning to the club.

The news will surprise no-one, but will comes as welcome relief that we will finally be rid of Reyes.

Speaking with SkySports news Wenger hinted that a deal for Reyes was almost done, and that the striker would not be returning to the Gunners.

'We will make an announcement shortly, but he will not come back here,' Wenger said.

'I cannot tell you more than that at the moment.'

Reyes agent says it's doubtful that Jose will join French champions, Lyon as the player doesn't speak French.

It's a shame, such a talented player. But this has dragged on long enough, sell him and put the money back into the team.

highmark, lets wait till the window closes, shall we. Wenger has something up his sleeve in terms of signings, I am confident of that. As for Reyes, a relief, and good riddance. Sure, he gave us some good memories, and is a good talent, but I hope the club hasnt lost too much money on the whole.

It's said he'll go to Real for 6.5m, too low for a player of his class. But what the heck, Wenger has to buy a winger and Silva of Valencia or Adriano of Sevilla will fit the bill!!!
