Eduardo In Line For Blackburn Clash

Arsenal's big summer signing looks set to finally make his Premiership dubt this weekend when Arsenal travel up North for the first time this season to face Blackburn.

The Brazil born striker suffered an ankle injury only a couple of days before he was due to play for Arsenal against Fulham on the opening day of the season.

He also missed Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Sparta Prague in the Champions League qualifiers on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger also confirmed that Denilson is ready to return to first team duties after recovering from a slight ankle injury.

Speaking to Arsenal TV Online Wenger said: 'The players who come back available could be Denilson and Eduardo.'

The only down side is that there is a slight doubt on Manu Eboue's fitness after he picked up a slight ankle injury during Arsenal's win over Sparta Prague.

Wenger confirmed: 'From last night we might have a little problem with Eboue, who is struggling a bit.'

Tho Dudu looks class, if it does'nt work I think Bendtner is built for this type of fixture.

Still waiting for Adebayor. He and RVP compliment each other prefectly. But this is good news because RVP cant do as well alone up top. For me Rosicky loses his place in the side. What you all think?

Eduardo looked very good against Ajax and I hope he will start the game along side RVP

Yep GK if we have a formation of 442 then Rosicky will be warming the bench but if again it is a 451 then Rosicky will start

I think Eboue should lose his place and Rosicky should go to the right with Hleb on the left.

Surely it now has to be RVP on the right, Rosicky on the left with Fab and Hleb supporting Eduardo...4-3-3 when attacking and 4-5-1 when defending.

Niko, from what I have seen Dudu is a strong Mo' Fo' anyway, so I don't think we need worry who ever starts up front.

So, I think that means the starting lineup against Rovers will be: - Lehman - Sagna - Gallas - Toure - Clichy - Theo - Cesc - Denilson - Hleb - Dudu - RVP

Wenger has hinted that Dudu might start, and we might see RVP getting a breather. It will be good to see him in action, finally.

It's forecast to be *****ing it down in Blackburn all day. Be interesting to see how Dudu feels about wet Northern games, especially against the likes of Savage.

With Eboue out it'll be nice to see Rosicky playing on the right, see if he's learnt anything all season. Theo will come on in the 70+ mins. and thrash the Blackburn back 4, possibly forcing Warnock into a reckless challenge. =]

I'd have thought that with Eboue out Hleb would return to RM, Rosicky will stay on the left, and we play a 442 with two up front.

Andy, I should think he'll be used to it after 10 years in Coratia. Kaarley, glad someone got it... :-( Jake, I think Wenger will go with a 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 away to Blackburn to try and stop the savage Savage from tearing chunks out of everyone.

would like to see the strikers supported more than in midweek though. with the amount of chances we create Dudus could be in for a hatful this year
