'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Barton Has An Admirer

Just 24 hours after Manchester City refused Joey Barton his transfer request, Arsenal manager confirmed his admiration of the player.

Barton has been in trouble on numerous occassions, but seems to have turned the corner with regards to his personal life, and his football seems to be benefitting from these changes.

Wenger said. 'I like Joey Barton,' Wenger told Sky Sports News.

'But, you know, I don't want to interfere with that publicly.

'He has been negotiating with his own club so I do not want to interfere with that.'

I believe Barton has attended Tony Adams' 'Sporting Chance' centre.

I would have liked to see him at Arsenal! he would be eligable for champions league. Would have given us some real aggression against Real madrid!
