Arsenal Clash Highlight Of My Career

The England skipper says the massive Champions League tie between the Gunners and Real Madrid will be the highlight of his career.

Beckham, a childhood Sp*rs fan, played against Arsenal on many occassions for Manchester United and bulit up quite a rivalry.

'As a kid I didn't like Arsenal at all and I used to get such a hammering when I played at Highbury for United,' Beckham told the Sun.

'I was always desperate for us to beat them.

'It's going to be one of the highlights of my career playing this tie.

'I've always wanted to go back and play against an English team for Real.'

Beckham has had many discaplinary problems over his career, and one little slip in the first leg would see the midfielder out of the Highbury game.

'I'm on two bookings and if I get another in the first leg, I'll miss the return at Highbury which would be a nightmare,'

Go on becks curl one in at the clock end and crush those sorry gooners! P.S. A serious note, I was speaking to my cousin whos's a gooner and he's heard wispers that Hill-Wood and Dein etc are worried that failure to get into champions league would leave Wenger with next to nothing to spend unless he sells. As a yid I'm hoping its true but i need confirmation.
