Arsenal vs. Cardiff

Highbury

Saturday 7th January

3:00pm

Arsenal v Cardiff

Arsene Wenger and his men will begin their defence of the FA Cup for the 4th time in Wenger's reign tomorrow at Highbury, when Arsenal take on Cardiff in the 3rd round of the competition.

Arsenal have not scored a goal in 180 minutes of football, but, they haven't conceded in 4 games! If the Gunners can find their shooting boots, it's possible the Bluebirds could be in for a real hiding.

The Gunners have only lost once at home all season and that was to the Premiership champions (I hate calling them that) in somewhat contraversial circumstances.

Vital Quotes:

“We start with Cardiff but this time we want to end with Wembley,”

Arsenal Team News:

Arsene Wenger will rest Thierry Henry, Jens Lehmann, Sol Campbell & Cesc Fabregas.

Manuel Almunia comes in to replace Mad Jens and Van Persie returns from Injury.

Player to watch: RVP

Arsenal have been missing a real goal threat, all too often this season we have heard the cry 'SHOOT' ringing around Highbury, but when Rvp is within sight of goal, we never have that problem.

Cardiff Team News:

The Bluebirds are without strikers Jason Koumas and Micheal Ricketts

Player to watch: Eerrmmm

Well obviously not Ricketts or Koumas.......doh!
