What has Walcott done to deserve a starting place everytime he is fit? Another rubbish performance from him

I hate to agree, but I must. Chamberlain has been excellent every time he's turned out for us. I understand the need to protect him somewhat, but he certainly deserves more playing time than he's getting.

He will get playing time; all part of the "feet on the ground" drill he will need to have. Throw him now and he thinks he' arrived; then, one bad game and he could be 'destroyed'. Theo Walcott, anyone?

We should get the stats for the number of attempted and completed crosses by Jenkinson tonight. Audacious performance from the lad. Hope his injury isn't long term.

About 40 attempted and 1 completed is my guess

Aw come on, ajwb. He was our more effective wing player today and only needed someone like Chamakh in there and he will have a few "assists" to his name.

Preposterous card for Djourou, can we please stop trying to take players on in or outside our box (Lookin at you Song) Theres a time to dribble and that ain't it. Real kick in the nuts for Marseille but they were pants 2nd half and we deserved more than a point apiece on balance. Nicely taken goal from Rambo who has been really very poor in his previous few showings, hopefully give the lad a boost back up.

Saw a tweet from GingersforLimpar this morning that the Sun warrented a 6 rating for Kos's performance last night, and Mertesacker a 5. A ****ing five, how can two defenders who kept a clean sheet and made sure there was no real danger be scored so pathetically. Now i'm not one to overly fuss about the Sun, but this has royally got on my tits.

Even if Ramsey hasn't gotten back to top form, he's still scored 2 goals and put in 3 assists in his last 4 turnouts. If that's him when he's poor I can't wait until he kicks into gear.

Ramsey was shocking against Tottenham, hear's hoping he picks it up now, well in kidda. Now, for Sunday....

I've said before that I think Jenks is one of the best crossers of the ball we have, you can tell a lot by his body well as the flight of the ball obviously. Rambo hasn't played well, but has still managed two goals and 3 assists so I think we can expect a great player to show itself over the next year.

Rocky I agree it was harsh rating but you have to admit Metesacker is terrible right now. He is soo slow and lacks fitness and in the Marseille game whenever someone took him on with skill he fell... which is quite amusing with his height and all. Koscielny is a good player when he wants to but he needs to stay awake for the whole 90mins.

I am a Chelsea fan but I am alone in a home full of Arsenal fans. I have admiration for Arsenal and there playing style. I have always said this and I will say it again, theo walcott is not just over rated but soo football stupid! He has no brain on the pitch and I cant help but think Arsene Wenger either has a soft spot for Walcott or he just gets games because he is english. Why does he start? He cant cross or dribble with the ball!!!! without fabregas playing him through with inch perfect through balls he will rarely get any goals. The sooner chamberlain or park get played on the wing the better.

e dubbz because its difficult playing chamakh without dropping Van persie or playing him further down the field which would mean playing a 4-4-2. The problem with playing 4-4-2 is that Arsene likes 5 in the middle so that the team can dominate possession.

I have to say Rosicky is getting better every game, just shows his character during a hard time for arsenal. Unlike Arshavin who plays crap and keeps feeling sorry for himself. And walcott who just cant help putting down the confidence Ross Jenkinson.

Great Result last nite even if a tad tedious one has to say.Overall, I thought the defence was OK.Jenkinson has a helluvalot of potential and Walcott could learn a thing or two from him when it comes to crossing a football.Per was dreadful in my opinion and I hope it was a one-off.Kos is very under-rated and i would have him at right back instead of the spectacularly regressed Djorou if Jenkinson is out for a sustained period of time.Santos will get better.Rosicky had a solid game for me.Song for me is something of an anomaly in the sense that he seems to get much better after picking up his customary early bookings but gets stronger as the game wears on.Arteta had an average game for me but reasonable performance nonetheless. He MUST improve!! Arshavin was pants!!.AOC anyone?.Walcott is gradually becoming a retrograde talent. He hasn't got a scintilla of a footballing brain and his decision-making is atrocious at best.RVP is a legend.Gervinho seems better suited as an impact forward.Rambo atoned somewhat for his non-performance at the Spuds with that get-out-of-jail goal.More expected of him though.SCZC,didnt have much to do.I suspect come Sunday, Delap and Co will have something to say about that!! All in all,a great win and we probably deserved to win on the balance of play. The earlier TV5 comes back, the better though, as the defence seems bereft of urgency, and organisation-ingredients which are a prerequisite for a sustained and consistent run of positive results, for a team lacking confidence like ours. We have to beat Stoke convincingly on Sunday and then we can start entertaining thoughts of turning the corner. Up The Arse!!!!

Nice to see a player other than Van Persie winning us a game, we rely on him far too much.
